Mimosa golfers asked to renew memberships
CLARK
FREEPORT, Oct. 3 (PNA) -– The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has
called the members of the Mimosa Golf and Country Club (MGCC) to update
their memberships for endorsement to its new operator.
CDC
President Benigno N. Ricafort issued the notice saying “all golf club
members of the former MGCC are hereby notified that only those meeting
the following requirements shall be included in the final list to be
endorsed to the new operator.”
“In
view of the forthcoming turnover of the former Mimosa Leisure Estate,
the Clark Development Corporation is calling all members of the Mimosa
Golf and Country Club who wish to be endorsed to the new operator to
update their membership,” Ricafor said.
He
added that “only members with proof of membership such as the original
golf certificate duly signed by authorized signatories of MLRC and
certificate of membership duly validated by CDC as to its authenticity”
will be honored.
Ricafort
also advised MGCC members with outstanding accounts or arrears as of
September 30, 2008 should settle them on or before December 15, 2008.
“Members
not meeting the above requirements are hereby advised to revalidate
their membership by presenting the acceptable proofs and/or settle
their outstanding accounts/arrears on or before December 15, 2008 with
the Membership Office,” Ricafort stressed.
“Failure
to do the foregoing within the prescribed period shall automatically
result to the non-inclusion of the member in the final list to be
endorsed to the new operator and the termination of playing rights and
privileges within the facility,” Ricafort added. (PNA)
