Contemporary, adjustable, and fashionable, the Ameriwood Tv stand for 70” inch TVs is just big enough to handle the largest ultra 4k TV’s on the market while allowing users to have appropriate storage space and can hold a weight of about 135 lbs.

Made with a cherry woodgrain and coated with a black finish, it will look wonderful with any décor and it has multiple open and closed compartments so the wires can easily be hidden from the surface.

After bulk-ordering these TV stands, I wanted to test out the Carson TV stand first to see how it would work. I liked the weathered oak feel to it, and the combination of metal frames gave it a sleek look.

It was able to keep the 65’ inch TV steady, but I had to fix some of the screws had a hard time being screwed into the holes, so I had to adjust it with some of the spare screws that came with the set, and it worked just fine.

The legs were stable, but once you place the Tv on the stand, it gets a little wobbly, so just be careful with that.

I like the gray wash that the MDF wood has, and because it was longer than it was taller, I found it to be a bit more difficult to work with once I tested out the TV. However, it’s nice if you have a low seater and want to just relax without having to strain your neck watching the TV.

How Does The TV Stand Work?

The City Life stand is simple, but the storage space is probably the best out of the list, as it was able to suit my needs for storage quite well. Putting the stand together was the easiest as well, as it contained the least amount of parts needed. However, for such easy construction, it also weighs a lot.

I would, however, suggest wall mounting the TV instead of placing it on the stand, because while it’s simple, functional design, it doesn’t have much in the way of back support for the TV.

It’s also quite tall, which means you’ll probably have to be looking up more while you’re sitting on your couch when you’re watching the TV.

How to Pick the Right Stand for Your TV:

A TV’s advertised size doesn’t reflect the actual size of the TV. This is because a television’s dimensions are taken diagonally instead of horizontally, so when a TV says it’s 65” inches, it means that it is 65” inches from the left bottom corner to the top right corner.

These measurements only account for the screen and thus doesn’t include the frame. If you have a 65” inch TV, then the best stand would be a 55” inch stand or more, depending on the room and other applications you would need.

One recommended way to find the size of your TV is the use a measuring tape, measuring from the left edge of the frame to the right edge of the frame. The TV stand height should be positioned just below eye level to ensure that the TV is placed in a comfortable position to see it.

The perfect setup of a TV when it comes to its height is that the TV stand should fall just an inch or two below the differences between the sightline of the people in your household and half of the TV’s height. The width of the TV stand should be at least a few inches wider than the TV itself.

Out of the total I’ve reviewed, I would say that the Santa Fe Tv stand is my all-time favorite just for the design itself. While it doesn’t have the storage space that the City Life has, it makes up for that in quality and sturdiness, which is probably the most essential parts of what makes a good TV Stand.

My second favorite would have been the WE White Oak stand for its similar take, as it stood out quite nicely among my décor in my home and I didn’t have much of an issue with putting it together. I would argue that when choosing from this list, the sturdier the wood is, the better quality TV stand you’re going to have.

Plus, out of these selections, the prices aren’t that bad either, but again, it all depends on what you’re looking for when it comes to a TV stand.
